Which tripp trapp colour

I was pretty much sold on the Tripp Trapp the first time I saw it but did consider the Baby Dan DanChair - a similar concept at a much lower price. So, it is with the more expensive chair we went and we decided on the purple chair and the fresh stripe cushion. We pretty much bought the whole shebang: chair, baby set, cushion, harness and table top tray. We purchased online from Back in Action , a store we had never heard of but one that worked out great with super fast delivery. Prior to using the Tripp Trapp we used the BabyBjorn Babysitter to feed her and that worked fine for the beginning stages of weaning.

EM looks to be much more comfortable in her Tripp Trapp and we have finally mastered the art of getting her in. As the other Mums have pointed out it does take some skill to get the baby into the chair with the baby set attached without appearing to hurt their legs.

After much practice EM slides in and out very easily now with no fuss at all. Seeing EM sitting in her colourful chair, at the table, makes me smile. She loves to bang on her tray and scratch on her cushions.

The tray is another story. They are hard to come by, because many parents keep theirs for many years and multiple babies. When you are finished with your Tripp Trapp, sell it!

Although the tray comes off easily and can be washed in a large sink, the underside is a honeycomb pattern with a ton of nooks and crannies where food consistently gets stuck. Pro tip: If you wash it right away, it's pretty easy to clean, but allow food to harden on there and you'll need some real elbow grease to get it off.
