Post by Jedi » Tue Nov 06, pm Hi all, I need a cc learner legal scooter for commuting, top speed and handling aren't top priority but I need very good acceleration from a standing start, my journey to work takes me through nine sets of traffic lights and it's like the start of a Formula 1 race when they go green round here, all the cars go for it big time and at the moment my little 50cc chinky scoot is struggling big time despite derestriction and lighter rollers.

Post by bosworth » Tue Nov 06, pm Hi Although it's not got the same top speed as a Gilera Runner the Piaggio Typhoon will get off the mark and up to 40mph quicker than anything I have tried that was not modified,it will make a monkey of most cars off the line because of it basically being a 50 body with a 2 stroke engine in it and for your money you will get a better example of one than all the ramped Runners and Aprilla 's.

Dragster is very good looking but some parts are hard to get and underseat space is limited. Aprilia SR has a slightly lower top speed due to it being air cooled, also I don't find the riding position very comfy. The SP is a two stroke It is an older machine now. The VXR is a four stroke It's a more modern engine.
